About the Role
This is a senior leadership role at the heart of our Sales & Distribution function — managing a team of Relationship Managers, driving broker engagement, and owning a portfolio of your own.
You'll be the person your team turns to for guidance, escalations, and the kind of technical product knowledge that helps a broker say yes. You'll work closely with Credit, Settlements, and our Manila team to keep the machine running smoothly — and you'll play a genuine role in shaping the strategy that drives our Third Party channel forward.
It's a hands-on role. You'll be managing pipelines, coaching performance, running webinars, calling brokers, and supporting deals when the team needs you to step in. If you're looking for a role where you sit behind a desk and delegate everything, this probably isn't it. If you want to lead a high-performing team and stay close to the action — keep reading.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading a team of Relationship Managers through day-to-day operations, performance management, onboarding, and coaching
- Managing pipeline activity, pricing scenarios, escalations, and broker complaints across the team
- Monitoring KPIs and driving performance to meet agreed sales targets and financial goals
- Owning and growing a portfolio of accredited brokers through proactive outreach and relationship development
- Providing technical scenario and product guidance to mortgage brokers to a high standard and on time
- Running broker-facing webinars, training sessions, and product presentations
- Keeping on top of credit policy changes and ensuring your team and broker partners are up to speed
- Driving Direct Channel loan originations — generating, qualifying, and converting leads into settled loans
- Assisting in the development and implementation of Resimac's Third-Party distribution strategy
- Completing monthly commission reporting, probation reports, and performance appraisals for your team

- Solid understanding of mortgage lending processes, credit policy, and origination systems
- Familiarity with the NCCP Act and Privacy Act
Attributes
- You genuinely care about brokers and the customer experience behind every deal
- Excellent communicator — clear, confident, and credible with brokers, peers, and leadership alike
- High integrity, maturity, and commercial judgement
- Flexible and adaptable — you can shift gears when the business needs it
- Happy to roll your sleeves up and support the team when it matters
- Comfortable working across a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
