About the role
We’re looking for a proactive, customer-focused Lending Officer to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the go-to contact for managing new and existing customer lending enquiries, guiding them through the full process – from application submission and assessment, right through to settlement.
Your focus will be on converting sales leads and direct customer enquiries into successful applications, resulting in home loan settlements.
In addition, you’ll provide sales support to Resimac-accredited brokers, as well as operational support to our Business Development Managers and Relationship Managers (BDMs/RMs).
What you will doing:
- Ensure all leads and enquiries are actioned and contacted promptly, in line with set KPIs and service standards.
- Implement effective follow-up procedures to maximise lead-to-application conversion rates.
- Track all interactions in the CRM (where available) and ensure all data is accurate and up to date.
- Assess serviceability and other key credit criteria to ensure the lending solution offered is suitable for the borrower.
- Meet, and strive to exceed, all set targets.
Manage the day-to-day support service activities for accredited brokers, including:
- Responding to telephone and email enquiries, including advising on current promotions, interest rates, loan product and policy information, and SLA updates.
- Troubleshooting servicing/LMI calculators and answering loan scenario queries, including cases where a BDM/RM is unable to respond in a timely manner.
- Provide operational support to the BDM/RM sales team by assisting with pipeline management activities and nurturing relationships with broker partners.

- Good knowledge of mortgage lending principles and processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
