About the role
As Strategy Manager, you'll shape and drive the organisation's strategy and annual business plans to deliver value for shareholders and stakeholders.
This role is critical to Resimac's strategic evolution. You'll translate insights on market opportunities into tangible product offerings that strengthen competitive positioning, enhance customer value, and deliver sustainable returns for the business.
You'll provide leadership to analysts across strategy development, M&A and business insights.
You'll lead the development and refresh of the organisation's strategy with the Senior Leadership Team, assess M&A opportunities, and develop insights to inform the organisation's strategy, business plans and strategic programs of work. You'll ensure the business has a clear view of market trends, customer behaviour, credit performance, and operational efficiency, using these insights to guide executive decision-making, optimise lending operations, and support long-term commercial success.
What you'll be doing
- Lead annual strategy refresh and business planning with the CEO/SLT
- Support translation of strategy into execution, working with the SLT and PMO
- Identify (some), size and prioritise (all) strategic opportunities
- Develop insights on customers, brokers, products, competitors and market trends, including consolidating data across multiple internal and external sources, to identify opportunities and drive improved business outcomes
- Partner with Product, Risk, Sales, Operations and Delivery to convert insights into outcomes
- Provide thought leadership and coaching to strategy, insights and reporting analysts as the function scales
