What You'll Be Doing
You will oversee these primary areas: expanding and managing the wholesale partners in the private credit sector, managing the successful volume growth of the Secured Business Loan portfolio, and inputting into the development of the wholesale product offering.
- Facilitate the exceptions process for RAF wholesale partners, including workshopping scenarios, escalating and managing approvals from product, credit and treasury teams, issuing term sheets, coordinating with product, credit, legal, treasury, operations and compliance as necessary, and reviewing and approving loan documents for loan facilities.
- Assist in tasks such as extensions, redraws, arrears management, variations, rate increases, annual reviews, and general loan administration where required.
- Manage relationships with RAF wholesale partners and provide ongoing training on products and processes.
- Achieve agreed volume, net interest margin (NIM), and volume per Wholesale Partner targets.
- Stay informed about competitors' activities and make recommendations to enhance competitiveness.
- Develop operational procedures to enhance scalability and efficiency within the RAF wholesale division where required.
- Stay current with all credit policies and procedures.
- Develop, monitor, and provide insights on pricing and products for the Wholesale Asset Finance business.
- Contribute to the formulation and successful integration of RAF business strategy.
- Identify opportunities for automation, digitisation, and process improvements within the RAF wholesale team.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures within the RAF wholesale team.
- Uphold adherence to the risk framework at all times.
- Provide support, leadership, coaching, training, and development for staff members if required.
