About the Opportunity

This HR Business Partner role is all about action and impact. You'll be a trusted partner to our leaders, providing expert advice and pragmatic solutions that directly support our business goals. The role requires a commercially minded, strategic thinker who can translate business priorities and strategy into successful people related outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders of all levels and employees, offering coaching and support for all people-related matters.
  • Work alongside the Head of HR to determine strategic priorities and roll out strategic initiatives with the aim of building capability, performance, engagement and wellbeing across the business.
  • Drive organisation design and workforce planning to lift capability and speed of execution.
  • Implement practical frameworks for performance and development, succession planning, talent reviews, and leadership.
  • Translate people data into actionable insights and decisions (dashboards, trends, forecasting) that link directly to revenue, cost, risk, and productivity.

 

As a proactive, commercially minded HR professional you can build confidence and trust with everyone you work with. You're a problem-solver who balances the needs of employees with business objectives.

  • Solid understanding of organisational design, change management, the design of remuneration frameworks and contemporary HRIS systems.
  • Ongoing ambition to deepen your HR expertise, supported by a clear aspiration for future career development.

 

Must have’s

  • You have a deep understanding of employment law, Fair Work compliance, and modern awards.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday HRIS and ADP payroll systems.
  • Experience in financial services, FinTech or other similar highly regulated environment.
  • You are familiar with broader financial services regulatory frameworks like APRA and ASIC.
  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or have equivalent professional experience.
